The Rudolf Nureyev Junior Suite has many photos depicting the famous Russian ballet dancer during his theatrical performances on the stage of La Scala Theatre. The Grand Hotel et de Milan was his chosen lodging in Milan together with the great English ballerina Margot Fonteyn, with whom he formed a memorable artistic partnership. One of his longest stays was in 1981 on the occasion of the making of the film based on the ballet Romeo and Juliet. "Verdi's House" was his address in Milan. Rudolf and Margot adored De Milan for its relaxing atmosphere, a world of privacy and relaxation after exhausting days of rehearsals.
