For three generations we have been lavishing attention on our rooms and suites, you’ll discover elegance with a very personal touch. Original parquet floors were polished, beautiful antiques collected and bold contemporary touches lighten the rooms for the 21st century traveller. One of the great delights is that no two rooms are the same in this historic house.
The traditional architecture gave us ‘noble’ floors with beautifully high airy ceilings. The top floors are cosier, some come with terraces or a view of the golden Madonnina on top of the Duomo. Each has its own special feature and we’ve thought of every comfort for our stylish, globetrotting guests.
Twelve of our suites honour the creative achievements of some of the world’s greatest artists. They are named for the many stars we have had the pleasure of welcoming into our home. Being 674 steps to La Scala, Caruso, Callas, Visconti, Nureyev all enjoyed the personal warmth and fine style of the ‘Milan’.
Spacious, stylish and inspirational. It is our honour that for 27 years Giuseppe Verdi, Italy’s great operatic composer, made the Grand Hotel et de Milan his home. The Suite’s terrace was his stage for ovations and encores after a performance at La Scala.
